We will book a call to have an initial chat to discuss how we can work together. From there the job will be agreed, paperwork raised, signed off and a date agreed.

What are your rates?

£95 per hour, bookable for a minimum of 3 hours.

  • £750 full day
  • £400 half day

Travel is included within  25 miles  of Newcastle-upon-Tyne (NE1 3PH).  Mileage is then charged at 45 pence per mile plus travel time of £10 per 30  minutes.   Itemised travel costs are detailed within the paperwork relating to the job.

Once everything has been agreed and all the paperwork signed (which will detail all the specifics), an invoice is raised and a non-refundable booking fee of 50% is due immediately to secure your booking with the balance due no less than 7 days before the agreed shoot date.

Other useful information

I am based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the North East of England and very happy to travel across the UK and worldwide.

I recognise life happens and sometimes you may need to cancel or postpone, so please do let me know as soon as you do so that I can work with you to mutually resolve and reschedule where possible.  If you have to  postpone we will work together to agree an alternative date as soon as possible.

Full details will be contained within the contract drawn up and agreed by all parties.

  • the 50% booking fee due immediately is non refundable (outside of your statutory right to a 14 day cooling off period)
  • cancellations made 15 days or more before the shoot date will incur a loss of the 50% booking fee
  • cancellations made between 8 and 14 days before the shoot date will incur a loss of the 50% booking fee and 25% of the remaining balance due (i.e., 75% of invoice value)
  • cancellations made up to and including 7 days before the shoot date will incur a loss of the 50% booking fee and remaining balance (i.e., 100% of invoice value)

That’s OK – as detailed in the contract you have a statutory right to a minimum cooling-off period of 14 days.

In the unlikely event that I am either too ill or injured and unable to complete the photography shoot in person  I will endeavour to do everything possible to arrange for a replacement photographer to represent me.  Should this not be possible an alternative date as soon as possible will be agreed to reschedule the shoot, or if this is not agreeable any payments received will be refunded to you in full and final settlement.

All images produced by me (‘the photographer Tony Shawcross’) are protected by International Copyright Law and by the Copyright, Designs & Patents Act 1988 and remain the ‘intellectual property’ of Tony Shawcross.   By appointing me as your photographer agreement will be reached to image asset usage and an appropriate license issued to you.

Should your image usage requirements change it may be necessary for a revised license to be issued which may result in an administrative fee being payable.

By appointing me as your photographer you agree that images taken by me can used as part of my promotional and marketing material; including website and social media.

I have  full public liability and professional indemnity  insurance which I am happy to provide sight of, if requested.

My DBS certificate is available for inspection as required and is updated regularly in line with recommended guidelines.

Full frame Canon DSLR body with L series architectural lens and professional mobile lighting set up (as required).

Full payment details are provided in the contractual documentation and invoice, with details of payment methods available.
